Have you asked a French club to take it up with FFVE? http://www.ffve.org/

 Re: Can i just say
No need sir. Just been to CT last week with this D*lly. The D*lly is transfered to our name (business name) and we can use the D*lly for parts to sell or restore the beats. We can also sell the D*lly to anybody as it is but the person buying it can not tranfer to his name without restoring it first. Attachment:

They come after you? Or is there some way to "break the link" between you and the car, without establishing a link between the car and the new owner? I s'pose, because of the way the French registrations are within a dept rather than nationally, they must be. Same with exporting - will our AK still be linked to the old owner?

When selling a car, the seller will provide you with a sales contract, so he is clear. Your AK is legally yours if you have a document signed by the seller and you. Using an unregistered vehicle is bad news if caught, don't know if caught by speed camera but think that the previous owner is not liable.

Makes sense, I s'pose, but it's just WRONG. <edit: reads Wiki link... Postponed from Jan to Apr to Oct due to "economy" and "computer bugs". Ha. It's not just the UK, then...)

 Re: Can i just say
When I was over there, week before last, I was shocked at the amount of cars with the new style plates. At this rate, the old Dept. style, will be mostly gone in five years.
