My Ami 6 berline 1967 rouge cornaline
Here's my current ride, this one is a keeper so I'll never finish this project. I went to get this Ami 6 from Orleans France in Aug 2009.. I spent my life savings, but now she is mine! The car is in good condition mostly still in original paint and runs really well. Some rust in the usual spots but those I will fix in the coming months.. here's a shot of the floor: I could be a lot worse.. The interior is also in really good condition, but the headliner needs new perforated vinyl.. My plan is to fix the interior in nice original condition but leave the outside of the car looking a little rugged.. I'll try to post photos and info here when I get things done.. lately it's been quiet, but I have big plans for the spring and summer. For more photo and info you can also check my Ami blog: http://ami6.wordpress.com -turtle

Thanks everyone. No worries I got a healthy self-confidence so I do what I like..
I have a very rare one-piece Galey-Cornex Ami 6 rear bumber tubul-guard-thing... Also have other accessories that I have collected over the years, but I'll try not to turn this thing into a Christmas tree..

Now that I really do like. Black rims and white walls, sun visor - all nice touches. One hell of a garage you've got there!

Unfortunately I am just renting a spot at that garage, wish it was mine with all the boats, cars and spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaace... But 20€/month is not bad for such a place. Here's a photo of my FM car/travel radio which I will use.. The Radioën I have is also working but nothing much to listen to on those wavelenghts so here's my solution to get some tunes.. The radio is also made in 1967.

Cool! Do you have any photos of the rear bumper?

Here's a photo of the Galey-Cornex(?) rear bumber tubul/guard... The rubbers are not the correct ones.. I don't have them either, don't even know what they look like.. ..wish I could find an old photo or accessoire brochure.. Will take a better photo once I get it mounted on my ami.
