my name is cees, I live in the netherlands and I have owned more than 40 oldtimers the last 20 years. always had a 2cv on the side, they are the most fun.

I post some ppictures of 2cv's I owned and from my recent one.

my first 2cv, I had 11 stiches around my right eye and 4 in my knee:

What happened to the first car? Looks pretty bad. I love the carpet car. Did it not start to smell a little though?

my first 2cv crashed on an icy road against a citroen gs. i drove 70 km/hour, the guy in the gs 20. so that was a big bang!

the carpet is polyester, sucked up a lot of rain, but didn't smell. kids loved it, like a big pet.

I think i´ve seen this car, the orange funny one, at Citromobile.

It does look like it was a big bang.

It was a good looking car. Good thing about it looking like a pet. At least you didnt have to pick up its droppings.

How loud is the exaust? any videos?

i've been there, so that is very well possible

the exaust is all original, except for the end, sound is almost the same. without the second muffler the sound is to loud for me, as i use the car as a daily driver.

after talking about my carpet 2cv all the good memories came back, so next friday i'm getting a carpet again, this time beige. waiting for the temperature to rise above 10 degrees celcius...
