Is there a reason why I have to keep logging in everytime I visit the site despite ticking the automatic box? It used to work.

I dont. well not always... sometimes it does even though I am already on the site in another window. I use firefox

Are you on a paranoia kick and refusing to save cookies? Otherwise, it should work fine. Does for me.

No mate, that sort of thing's never bothered me. Like I say it did work, now it doesn't and I haven't changed any PC settings

Try deleting the cookie, then logging in again.

I have'nt had a problem with remaining logged in/on, seems fine with me.

I do have one question though,which is unrelated to this posting, but I thought I'd post it on here anyway, which is.....

Is it possible to have the most recent postings first? When we open/access a page/posting, it shows the earliest one first, which most of us have probably read. I know it does'nt take more than a few seconds to click on the most recent page/post, but it does get a bit annoying after a wee while.

Sorry for being a pain, just throwing my penny worth in, it may help to improve users enjoyment of the forum,(but then again, maybe not) .

you need to have a play with your settings...

click 'user control panel' - top left

click 'board preferences' in the left hand column

click 'edit display options'

change 'Display post order direction' from ascending to descending

click 'submit' That *should* work
