 Villevenard 2cv 4x4 meeting
If anyone is interested in coming to this meeting then please either pm me or Rupert (Studioru). We will travel on Friday 30th Oct mid-morning Dover-Calais, drive 3 hours to Reims, stay overnight in etap have a meal out and go to the meeting at Vilevenard (Champagne region) on Saturday morning the 31st Oct. We will camp at the meeting Saturday night and return home Sunday late evening. Its a great weekend of off road fun (very very muddy) - good atmosphere with our French, Belgium friends. Goody bag last year included a bottle of bubbly as well - proper stuff! Put in villevenard 2cv 4x4 in youtube for vids of last year. We split the costs between us (ferry, fuel, food, Etap, entry) - at least two Barbour cars going from UK (possibly four) - and if we take the VW transporter - upto 8 seats would be available for passengers. First come, first served. If you come along its an excellent weekend and you of course can have a proper drive of my car. More details will shortly be on our new Barbour website www.barbour4x4.comRich

 Re: Villevenard 2cv 4x4 meeting
OK Guys & Girls - we are booking Villvenard this coming week.
Please PM me with your email address if you would like to come.
I am leaving Friday 30th Oct morning and returning Sunday 1st Nov evening.
Some of the other boys are leaving Friday 30th Oct, returning Monday 2nd Nov.
So far we have 3 UK Barbour cars going, possibly 1 more.
Little Louis & Paul - 2cv 4x4 pick up Chris R - Green meanie 2cv 4x4 Rich and Louis B - Orane 2cv 4x4
Rupert - no car this time but coming. Pete S - no car this time but coming.
I am taking my newly purchased Synergie - which can seat 7 - although some seats will have to be removed for BBQ, Marquee and tents etc.
Louis B is taking a car and trailer
Little Louis and Paul are also taking car and trailer
Between us we should be able to offer at least 2 possibly 3 people a trip over on a first come first served basis - shared costs of everything, ferry, food and fuel - we split it all down the middle between all of us. I am happy for you have a go in our demo barbour 4x4 (entirely at your own risk as a mate, not as an offical company trip - Mr health and safety)
Its a very good weekend - very very muddy, very very knackering pushing cars, very very good laugh with French and Belguim 2cv friends and a great way to experience these cars in action and have some fun. Its a small event possibly 20 - 25 2cv 4x4 cars in the Champange region of France. Looks like this year we will go straight to the meeting Friday and either camp or go in local hotel.
Please PM me ASAP and we will book you on the ferry and sort out logistics.
Thanks
Rich
