   |   Re: fleaBag the aks400Right, something's actually happened on the van! Everything came undone. I'm really not used to this. It's wrong, dammit. WRONG! It's all looking very tidy so far - no unpleasant surprises. The rear gearbox mount was utterly, utterly shafted - I didn't even bother waving a spanner at it - just pulled the gearbox for'ard. And, yes, I did do the traditional and forget to undo something before trying to remove. Was it the usual suspects? Speedo cable? Clutch cable? Earth strap? No. I forgot to undo... the gear lever... D'oh. I really don't think it's ever done much. I'm starting to think that it's not even been around the clock yet - 80k km, IIRC - even the driveshafts still have paint on them! It's clearly sat for quite a while - the hubs behind the wheels were a mess of empty snail shells, spider webs and gawd knows what. Anyway - shinyness! _________________
