Post Axle Boots
Just a thought, but I replaced my front axles with Ecas ones some time ago. And then as has sometimes been the case, wished I hadn't. They make clonking noises at certain angles and stuff. Recently I thought I might need recovery due to an awful noise. I was away but bought a grease gun and that was the fix.

I grease them more often than schedule.

So my question is, is it normal for the grease to come out of the ends of the boots much? Mine gives under the wings a good spattering every time I grease. Maybe the ends just aren't tight enough. From memory I didn't use those Ligarex fastenings, or whatever they're called. I don't remember what I used now, maybe strong plastic ties.

Plastic ties on the driveshafts lenghten when warm and you loose grease. Metal clips are better.

See if you can tighten them with some grips on the end of the tie

Just make sure there is no crack on the boot itself.
