 Re: AZL 1957
Helas it's not mine.... Was driving my blue today and smelled a little petrol. The last time i drove i thought the fuel consumption was a bit high. So i stopped and checked under the bonnet. And yes there was a little leak on top of the fuel pump (that was rather new). So at home after cooling down it wanted to take the fuellines of to remove the pump. To my surprise the clamp on hose near the pump wasn't tightend up at all....fool...that gives you 41 years of 2cv experience... )

 Re: AZL 1957
Yes it's a long beam. Very effective. At the MOT it has it's plastic cover on then it isnt't a light legally. So they may not test it. I think it is'n't legal but i am not sure. Have it on the car since new.

 Re: AZL 1957
We have some really very effective long beam and spot beam lights on garage. Haven't test them on any car yet, because they are 24v sealed beams. Near 300W and 500W lights, from MIG and Hawk. The owner of our house is working at military maintenance, so almos anything related those and also Hornet can be find. Also the building next door, is the place where is made a lot of carbon panels to fighters and Airbus flaps etc, so we have a lot of very strong plates to use under jack, 6mm and 8mm thick plates cut from Airbus flaps...
Need to test those lights some night. Have couple of 24V 100A alternators too, but maybe testing with two batterys...
Maybe not street legal lights, but on old cars almost any light is possible to use here...

 Re: AZL 1957
I just have a Hella long beam with H1 bulb in it. I did some research and the 3rd lamp may be legal if it's coupled to the normal Hi-beam lamps. They only say maximum 4 light on the front of the car. I had a collegue who came from New Zealand. He had an aircraft landing light on his motorcycle. It turned night into day according him.
