Fer,
How is the situation in Kerkrade ?
Do you have floods and flooded cellars , or were you lucky and did the weather miss your part of Limburg ?

Apart from a beginning of a basement flooding that we could battle last week it's ok. Here 800 meters down the road the village center was hit by heavy floods. A new roundabout in construction was ripped apart and ended up somewere in the marketplace. But this week it got more serious a few kms south from here. 3 days of haevy rain did flood and damage a lot of houses, roads and bridges.
We ahd bit water coming through the basement floor this week. And a leak in the conservatory roof.
But just over the border lot's of deads and heavy damage in germany and belgium.
We had a lucky escape.

My heart goes out to all those affected in Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, and Luxemburg. The images and statistics are truly shocking. :(

Yes it's a great mess all around us. A friend has a oldtimer garage in the region and he has a lot of damage.

Had washed and waxed the 83. It looks splendid again. Even under the bonnet

I almost crashed the 83 this evening. Driving downhill a black Ford pulled out of an unlit street vision partly covered by bushes. I did slide 3 meters and came to a halt at 10cms of that car...pffff.
