Post A-model rims
Greetings. I was looking for information online about the offset of a A-model rim, when I came across these two sites. Thought it might be interesting for some.

First is a site that sells A-model rims, in different sizes(width)! I've personally never heard about this before. Maybe interesting for those who wanna go all 80's on a build. Or the racers.

Next, it seems like those rims with the cut outs in them, for the AMI Super and the Mehari Azur, are made in China. And cost 10 dollar each if bought in bulk.
Just interesting info ;)
On this site, I found what I was looking for, the offset is said to be 28.
Nice if anybody can confirm that.

According to my notes, the specifications for the post 1967 ones are:

4JX15-ET 28,5

The problem with these is the area where the wheel nut goes is flattened, meaning normal 2cv wheel nuts don't fit. There have been a few cases of people fitting these and the wheels splitting.

I know. I didn't mean it as a tip to buy from the site. It was more just an observation, and I kinda was insinuating that this is where the 2CV part suppliers in Europe get the AMI Super/Mehari wheels from. But I might be wrong of course. I know some of them claim to make "original spec wheels" in Europe, which I'm sure they do. But what I've read is that that only goes for the normal, gray painted wheels, not the white, slotted ones :geek: I'm probably wrong.
