I left the lights on friday. So 5x 5watts for about 8 hours. The car did start but the dynamo couldn't charge enough to get the battery filled completely. So i hooked the car up to the charger for several hours today.

Had some knacking feel in my steering on the way home. It worsend as i hit the brakes. Wonder what that is, driveshaft U-joints or a broken brake drum? Hope nothing worse.

Did find the problem i hope. After adjusting the steering i did put the wheel back with the car on the jack. Then i had to put the frontwings on and forgot to pull the wheelnuts with the wheel on the ground. Could turn all 3 some 3/4 turn just now.

So it seems to be your own fault .
My dad had a car, took it to the workshop for service.
As he picked it up again from the workshop, he only managed to drive a few miles.
The engine stopped.
The meganic forgot to refill the engine oil .

No oil, how sad.

I've had my wheel bolts come loose on the motorway in howling rain on a long journey. Quite funny in a way because I'm so sensitive to car noise and feel. There were roadworks and many fences that make a funny noise as you go past anyway. I tried to convince myself it was my usual over sensitivity. But stopped in the end with lorries thundering past. Glad i did, front wheel loose!

A man had his citroen c5 to the workshop 5 times, he heard a noise and they didn't find it. He went to france and back and then by coincidance they found the 4 of his 5 front wheel nuts were loose...
