Re: AZL 1957
Had a test drive. It worked nicely no more wobbly front wheels. But have to release some pressure from the steering rods. I think the previous owner did ram the screws in full stop, in thinking that this did stop the play in the steering.

The 2CV looks huge, compared to the Volvo

Re: AZL 1957
I did open the steering rods at the wheel ends to check. One was bolted up to tight. Filled the lot with grease and put it back together again. Did a little testdrive it runs well over speedbumps etc

Re: AZL 1957
Wanted to get the 2cv6 auto of the garage yesterday, but the battery was flat. Had it on the charger for an hour as i had to go to town. When i cam back it was just enough to let turn the engine 2 times... So today i took the charged spare battery of the caravan. With the jumper cables the thing fired up at once. Did put the spare battery in the car ou never know. But it kept running and starting. It's a big change from the 12hp. Nice soft and silent engine. Great.....

Nice ... soft ... silent! Are you sure it was a 2cv!
