Post Cylinder head temperature
Anyone know what the ideal temperature is for the 2cv engine (late 602) to run at?

The Bedouin has an area under the grill that is allowing a large volume of air to over cool in winter. I need to block some off.

I can purchase a cylinder head temperature (cht) sensor, but it won't mean a lot unless I have some idea of what it should be.

Thanks Pete

I've ordered one (under plug), let's see what I get. :)

How did you calibrate?

Ungrounded needed you can then power the set up from the car supply.
Start with this battery display

It will take few days to arrive. However, I may have ordered the wrong type. :roll:

We will see. What I think I require is a resistive type. The same as a water temperature sender would be.

I'm after connecting it into my Speeduino for when I'm running on petrol.

I have this whizzy Android app to monitor it when running on Speeduino..

@What I think I require is a resistive type.

That will be a "Thermistor" used for Oil and Water temp (max temp approx 130 deg C.)

"TC's" (Thermcouple) signal gives Mille volts but can measure very high temps eg exhaust.
