Re: AZL 1957
The 57 was running slightly rough this week and it started a bit slow. I ran out of petrol again this morning and emptied the 5L jerrycan with fresh fuel in the tank. Car started again like new and did run much better. So i think the petrol had deteriorated a bit in the tank this long hot summer. ??

Re: AZL 1957
It's raining again today. My test with WD40 on the ventflap fixtures did work partially. Before leaking at all screws now only on 2. Have to wait till it's dry to have a go at it. For the time being i will tinker a bit with my old clocks and watches.

Re: AZL 1957
I would think take it apart and apply clear windscreen sealant may work.

Re: AZL 1957
This morning i drove to work and thought the 57 didn't pull very well. When i got out i was almost blown away. So it was the head wind....

Re: AZL 1957
Parked the 57 downside from the trees. You never know with the storm, a lot of branches have fallen down already.

Re: AZL 1957
You are such a lucky guy, getting to drive a car like that as a daily driver. Respect man....
Because of the salt on the roads here in Norway during the winters, I just cant get myself to subject any of my cars for that. But if I ever get to live somewhere without salting, it's gonna be 2CV all year round for me too.
By the way, I might do a trip to the Netherlands In Easter. Early/mid april. And I wanna drive the 2CV. How are the weather there around that time? In the North of the country more specific.
Regards Eirik

Re: AZL 1957
They salt the roads too overhere. But the car has a good protection (Mike Sanders Fett). You never know you can have sun but also can have frost.
