Yep, although I've never managed to work to a 'zero tolerance' setting, however 17mm to 18mm seems to have been adequate... Roger V wrote: Thanks Ken, much appreciated. Should I leave the float height at 18mm

A bit firmer than I would prefer, but its possible that they are a bit to low. I will probably need to put some box steel in and most likely move them to the middle a little.

As previously indicated, I also have a 21-24 carb. Anyone know if this carb has any benefits over the 18-26? Eg less acceleration, but better economy! I notice the top does not have the choke pull off feature. Is the top a retro fit for the 18-26, as that would be nice.

So annoying when the Shedouin is outside my flat and there are little jobs I want to do, but my tools are 20 miles away at T'farm.

Lol, I probably have spare tools, and they were at T'farm as well. I need a sort out.
