Just been out in the dark. Beer run to Rhayader and back, the lights are great on full beam, not so fine on dipped.
The new steering column bushes have improved the handling 100%.
If I just had a little more power ('cos there's nothing in reserve, it's to the floor all the time) I'd be satisfied with the flamer

You have to put in an 18hp engine.... but there is some more air resistance for the van. My 12hp is running better now, i think because i have mounted all exhaust couplings with gun-gum. It's more silent too.

Well, if you will use your 12hp all at once!

Talking of headlights, I got the Shedouin home t'other day. Drove to local shop today and came home with lights on. I appear to have crossed my wires on on high/low beams high is on on one and low on t'other. And vice versa.

Lol I know what you mean. I've been riding my 1000cc bike for 9 months. Overtakes before you have thought about it. Back in the Shedouin and try to put my foot down to discover its already down.

Of the two, I prefer the shed.

Well it would be ok if everyone else was travelling at about the same speed...but they're not. as soon as I leave home,I'm onto an A road, which over here means 60-70+ mph.(90+ kph.) Because I use this road for work purposes (and constantly berate 'Coffin Dodgers', I'm pulling into lay bys all the time, just like tractors do.
It's just not safe and a bit antisocial to hold up other road users.
I've thought a lot about upgrading/spoiling to 602cc.I even bought a doner engine and box from off eBay. Further costings and time that would have to be spent to make the flamer a contender ( ) I cannot justify to myself. It's no use owning a vehicle you don't want to use all the time. I suppose I could drive around in the night time .
I am minded to sell it, and that's not easy, who would want it?
