Spaghetti anyone? 8-)

Only some more wires than original? One for points, two for dynamo and thats all. Now, two for alternator, over 20 for IE, even speedo has three wires on gearbox...

But why? No need, only because it is possible. And this is some kind of hobby...

Yesterday connected only couple vires, too much something else with life... Today, almost whole day with wiring...

Image
Everything cut to proper lenght, hope everything works and nothing forgotten...

And then testing, all works, no smoke find other than exhaust. The engine has run about 18 months ago...

Image
all looks to work, so time to hide nice coloured wires...

Image
And, after taped all wires, just remembered the windscreen washer pump hasn't power. So, now it has constant supply, there was unused supply near washer pump...

Maybe some test drive tomorrow, with doors at least at front installed...

Yes, it works. Only non-working is horn, because I forgot it when swapped engine, it is still on supercharged engine...

Only -7'C outside, everything frozen, at garage 20 degrees warmer, nice...

Yes, some day. As I have had on my other Dyane near 20 years. When I build that, it was very surprising to other car drivers, many of them didn't believe their eyes/ears when I locked/unlocked that... No key entry on front doors, must have reliable remote system...

Started to replace the fan...

Little explosion at ice track. Old fan didn't like a long session over 6000 RPM...

Maybe need to remove cooling ducts, to get all plastic parts out there..?

Image
A new fan installed to pulley. And tried to put it back, but from some reason, fan blades hit the shroud. The fan os from MCC, does someone have had same situation? Need to measure the diameter, compare to another fan blade that is on the supercharged engine..?

Sadly that was enough for today, hard to try to make almost anything, because I slipped on ice on backyard some weeks ago, and hit my head hard to ice. With former injury, a new hit makes more damage much easier...
