Spring? This is my winter car....
Did have look at the underside and it still looked perfect after 3 winters of use. I really can recommend the Mike Sanders grease treatment...

No i had to sell the Land-Rover because they changed the tax rates for oldtimers. So this came in it's place so now i am tax and mot free...as all pre 1960 vehicules.
It works very well the old beast.

It took me 2 hours to change the driveshaft rubber. First the big nut wouldn't come off then the new rubber wouldn't go on. When fighting with that i did see that the middel rubber was ripped also so i took the whole halfshaft out and put it in the vise to change and fix everything. Putting it back together took me only 10 minutes.

This morning the gearbox of my ivory 2cv exploded uphill on the road to my work. Geo just helped me towing it away. THANKS AGAIN. Photos will follow soon.... It cracked about the place of the red line.

Sorry to hear that Fer, good to know that the Limburg Recovery Service is operational though. Hope you get it sorted soon.

Limburg Service is Great. I suspect something got stuck between the theeth of the differential and pushed that forward what broke the front gearbox cover. If i am lucky i just have to replace that front cover.

So here are some pics I took blindly with my phone, just holding it underneath the gearbox praying we could see something wrong..... and at last we did…

I think I dont need to point the cracks out with arrows etc.. :| :?
