 Re: Van repairs It won't tear, just as long as you take things steady and use a Stanley knife blade to ease/tease the gasket away from the carburettor body...  rob massey55 wrote: If I were to take the top of the carb. and the gasket tears, what then?

Re: Van repairs Yes plus from the battery and mass wire somewhere to the metal of the engine or gearbox. If you want to stop just pull one af the connectors of the coil. Not the sparkplug leads....

Re: Van repairs How would epoxy glue fare? Would it stand the expansion/contraction and the oil?
