Post Re: Shaggable old cars (and bikes)
Dunno if this is qualifies as shaggable but we parked next to this very interesting outfit today, just to have a look. And on closer inspection, some parts are very familiar. I think there's been some interesting adaption going on here, particularly with the reversed front wheels, obviously locked up somehow, to give forward rear wheel drive. We hung around it for ages, but the owner never appeared. I think the clever right foot throttle and linked brakes, operated by the front brake lever, may mean he has a disability of some sort, as, also, the foot gearchange is redundant due to the hand change present. the numberplate was local (17) so we'll be keeping our eyes peeled for another appearance! Any observations, anyone?

That's someone from the same mould as SubaruPete and Geo, proving that the 'impossible' is indeed possible... :)

Yup, quite agree Ken. At first we thought is was just an interesting old BM with a home-made sidecar but evidently not so.........

This Talbot-Lago is absolutely glorious, and Walter Becchia had a hand in the design before he moved to Citroen and created the engine for the 2CV.

Thank you for the compliment Ken..

Looking at it I come to the conclusion that the diff is welded with the rearbteak only at one side... Just like a quad..

Nah, it's the complete phrase which matters, not just one word... :)

Good talk or bad talk doesn,t matter. Being mentioned (by Ken) that's what's counts.. :!:
