Next change tires, with studs. And make ignition controlled by MS, now there is points with cut ignition box. Also I'm planned to make fuel filler tubes slightly different, with Ami filler tube...

Tires changed some weeks ago, fuel filler remade, and today put ignition controlling by MS. Points ignition lost spark (cutted points box, straight route for water), only needed to install ignition amplifier and wires, MS had all settings ready to use. Engine started better than ever, almost too easy...

And of course, on test drive it run out of fuel...

Only Hall -sensor reading original timing hole, sensor about 100 degrees BTDC. Plan is to have 36-1, so great experience with that pattern on Sm engine...

Now timing isn't accurate, it moves some degrees on flywheel at fixed timing, what my Sm:s ignition doesn't do. Even when the trigger is on auxiliary shaft (some inaccuracy with shaft coupling and primary chain), the timing is just like it is set...

Can't drill any pattern on that 7kg lightened flywheel without removing it...

Made these. Maybe better on rear diff than engine mountings? Need to paint them before assembly..?

Very neat solution...
On the race car, I used to drill through standard engine mounts and fit a 6mm bolt to prevent them separating under harsh loading, but this looks to be a much better plan. ;)

Nice!

They should keep the engine and rear diff from moving

At first, I planned to make them like that, but because of my mounting bracket, they couldn't be used without drilling couple of holes to bracket...

So, thanks to Pete and Louis, from photos what they have made, I just copied the solution. Only issue was to find those Visa parts, hard to find here. Our "universal part shop" listed them, about 2,90€/piece, but they said they can't have them anymore. Luckily our Citroen-special shop had them, near 15€/piece, but they got them plenty of...

Yesterday also made some planning for "evo" -version of 4x4, using GS-parts, and find that L-R prop shaft flange had same splines what GS pinion shaft has (thanks agan Pete), so I might need to make copy of "stumpy" for rear diff, if I can't find 5-speed 8/33 crown and pinion, with those I could make rear diff from 2CV parts and without I need to make that from GS -gearbox. With those L-R flanges, I also could use L-R prop shafts...

Finally installed new mountings to rear diff...

I think they do what they should, no extra scrapping noise anymore on hard accelerations. And they fit like a glove...

Now that's why I made my own ignition (and injection)

I drilled 36-1 while the engine was in my car... spot on.. there must be some fotos of it.. I will see if I find them
