Thanks, I will need all the luck I can have.. Scared that the RDW turns it into a flower-pot.. Well you know what I mean with that and what is wrong then........

We will see.. Need to drive about 30 km to the RDW... my stepson will escort me with his Saxo.. giving me a tow when it brakes down or gets to hot.....

The only meters I have driven are the ones you saw in the video up and down the street,, so many shit can happen tomorrow....

cheers, I'm going to try to get some sleep now....

Post Re: BMW 2cv engine conversion
Just a quick update... I made it to the RDW. No problems with the oilpressure or oiltemp.. I ended up in a small trafic jam, was worried about oiltemp but I have a very good fan it seems...

so I failed for the test:

Chassisnumber wasn't Original; they want to know from which car (licence-plate) the body is and they want to know from which motorcycle (licence-plate) the engine comes..

Ohh and also the engine made to much noise 8-) 8-) 8-) they measured 104db while 95db is allowed... However they measeured in a wrong way reading the rpm at a plug lead and as we know the coils spark double so they only measured at 3000 rpm instedof 6000...

Otherwise the car is awsome, at dry road I have wheelspin in 2, gear (just by hiting the throttle) in rain even in 3. gear.. and the engine isn't tuned.. I have about 25 degrees advance at the moment....

So I have to do a lot of homework but overall the engine isgoing to make itI guess, the car Í'm not sure...

will post some pics soon...

p.s.at the way home the engine starved, it run out of petrol It had used 5 liters of petrol @ 40km....

But it was lots and lots of fun driving/sliding it....
