I love the stations on the old radio - "Luxembourg, Droitwich, Europe". What did Droitwich have in those days?

Droitwich is the site of the BBC's most powerful long-wave and medium-wave transmitter masts. Opened in about 1930, they are still in operation. You can see them just to the east of the M5, near j5 – especially at night when they are all lit up.

Supposedly the residents of Wychbold can receive radio through their microwave ovens.

Parked next to this Series 2 Landy today. Appeared to be used, unmolested and unrestored. A very nice example........but I wouldn't want the fuel bills. Been there, done that!

i got from a SIII petrol landy to a 12hp 2cv....Petrol bills did shrink impressively.. Before 5 km per litre now 18 to 20 km per litre.... ;-)
But i still miss my SIII a bit, it was a nice beast and in narrow streets the other cars gave way...
Never experienced that in my deuches.
