I like ami's, I grew up in a Ami super Break, so Ami's are in my blood, they are spacy, slow and you get a lot of attention with them, be it my Ami 6 saloon, my service 4x4 or this one...

Sorry...

Ok with the prices of lpg today I couldn;t resist anymore... Without having an lpg car on the road for a year now, it was time to get at least my daily driver converted to LPG...

At the moment it is 26 eurocent a liter (just across the Belgium border)... so I luve it.......

So I ordered a lpg tank and started to convert all the pieces I had liying around from my BX sport which had to leave because I had to pay 1000euro tax this year and ofcourse I didn't want to...

So here we go some pics..

I see 4 injection-valves (red) in your last picture - I assume you still have the 2-cylinder engine mounted and not converted it to an Ami-supre 4 cylinder ? Does this mean you apply sequential LPG-injection with 2 injectors per cilinder ??

with LPGO almost nothing is standard, also this application is a little bit technically upgraded - keep up the good work Geo !

These are the injectors comming from my Bx-sport and yes I now have several possibilities...

At the moment I'm running semi-sequential injection with 2 injectors... So I have 2 injectors available for 1-2-squirt... If somithing goes wrong I can directly switch to Megasquirt and drive on.....

You need to know it is harder to get a car run on lpg injection rather the Petrol.. The ARF bandwidht of gas is much less then petrol.. So if my engine runs decent on LPG it will surely run decent on Petrol...

and if I don't need to switch to Megasquirt anymore I can make sequential staged injection as you wish... However if we want to do our setup (1 BMW 1150/1200 throttlebody you best you can run is semi sequential...

Please take a look at this I found this at youtue, it is very interesting, but again using the software of Megasquirt and I'm doing my own as an extra handycap...

use it just for the principles of it.. Ofcourse I'm doing it in another way...

If I talk to the so called pro's and tell them I use only 1 pickup, there are laughhing and tell my this can't be done that way, you need at least a thirtysomething to 1 triggerwheel to make it happen.. but hey we know better don't we

My masterbrake-cilinder was a pain in the a... lately, brake fluid all in the the car (rear seal was leaking) and of to the ground... Did you know that Citroen drilled some holes n=beneath the pedals to let oil out

So took the master cilinder out of the car (lots of work in an Ami Citroen still had to learn things back then) Put in a new seal from another brand so hope this will hold for a while (at least till after Poland)... So next is on to the 2 yearly APK I will bring it in on 1-2-spark and 1-2-squirt for APK so we will see what happens...

My car got a new MOT today, needed new rearwheel bearings; tidying up the wire spaggetty of 1-2-Spark and 1-2-Squirt and 2 extra bolts in the towbar... So may now drive it up till the 19. july 2017.
