 Help needed!
I was just ripped off by sevenhundredandsomething Dollars to fix rust under the windscreen rubber - had to get a new screen too - but the rain still gets sucked in down the air vent mesh and over the dashboard! Any wizzard out there knows more than me - please give me advice . . . Ame from Australia

 Re: More help needed!
I just spent about threehundredandsomething Dollars to get an electronic ignition fitted - in the upper revs it works brilliant, but start-up and climbing the hill in the morning is a real worry! Should I put the points back in? Any wizzard out there that knows more than me and would like to share his wisdom with me . . . Ame from Australia

 Re: Help needed!
Are you sure it is coming in through the vent flap? If so a new seal or carefully bending it so it closes tight will probably work, but I reckon you want wiper spindles instead.
As for the electronic ignition, have you just fitted it and left it? Or have you used a strobe to tune it? If its really gutless it probably isn't advanced enough.

I think you should stop using this garage!
With your vent flap, I removed mine and refitted t with plenty of sealant between the rubber and the body. New wiper spindles too - but maybe have a go yourself and save some $$$!

 Re: Help needed!
nonono - the water is coming from above the vent flap - the square tube just underneath the windscreen is getting wet on top!

 Re: Help needed!
If it's not coming in through the vent flap, and it's not coming in through the wiper spindles, it must be coming in through the screen rubber or surround, which I don't think it is. If that's what's happening, go back to whoever did the welding and fitted the screen and tell them to sort this shit out, because they've not done a very good job.

Did they re-use the old rubber? It might be hardened in time and not form it's self well to the shape of the windowbay.
