Re: BMW 2cv engine conversion
welded the inletmanifolds with plates to the exhaust, so now the inletmanifold is heated a little... and the carbs are rocksolid to the engine. I also welded some L profile to the exhaust and attached the exhaust to the rearside of the engine.... So next I need to take another 2mm of the spacer, I want to make a bolt for a 17mm spanner out of the 5 flywheelbolts in my mill (milling it 6 times turning it 60 degrees angle).. so then the clutchplate will fit better. Now it is hitting the bolts of the flywheel/crankshaft...
After that it was playtime.... I started to synchronise my two carbs..... I like it a lot...
So it is almost time to put it in a car....

Re: BMW 2cv engine conversion
for further sychronising & adjusting the carbs : will you be using a double AFR-setup and/or a map-sensor on each inlet manifold ??

double lambda-probe (if money allows) and a map-hose connected to each inlet-manifold and then to a T-piece going into 1 mapsensor (of 1-2-Spark)

Or something like that. Type "carb sync tool" to Google, there you can find many more solutions for that...
At first, make sure there is same MAP-reading in both inlet, before that it is quite useless to adjust mixture. You can have correct mixtures, but still carbs aren't syncronized, then engine works well at idle but not when driving...
