 Re: red ignition light query
You mean the "LOW OIL PRESSURE WARNING" light, I do believe... The light on the dash is connected to the switch on the nearside of the engine; 'low or no' oil pressure/light is on, adequate pressure/light is off. ayjay wrote: the red ignition light on the 2cv the light that goes out upon the alternator charging can anyone tell me where it connects to?(the excitor maybye)?? ive checked all of the wiring diagrams btw but no luck----- i know one bulb wire goes to earth but where to connect tother? thanks for any info fellas

Should be connected at the oil pressure switch, switch connects to earth when oil pressure gets to low, other side on the light must me connected to positive.

 Re: red ignition light query
thats the brake fluid level then perhaps its time to get the Haynes out and flick to the back pages....not the clearest of diagrams due to the adoption of the confusing schematic but 5 mis coloring it in with the kids felt tips, its a decent working tool.

 Re: red ignition light query
that sounds like a massive pain in the ass considering you can spend 50 quid and pretty much buy all the bits you need to make a loom from scratch and customize it all you need.
