 Re: Oil leak Joe, once you've got the wings off, clean the crankcase using brake cleaner (posh option) or a rag soaked in petrol (cheaper option), then run the engine, which should help you spot where the leak is. Btw, if it does turn out to be the oil pressure switch, it's not necessary to remove the engine cowling to change it. Re: Oil leak its an old one - used it to find where the water was getting in (non 2cv) take carpets out dust floor pan and wait for the teltales

Re: Oil leak Ken, quite right, I put the cowling back on today and saw that the sensor can be reached without the cowling being removed. Deep in there isn't it but much better than removing the cowling.

Re: Oil leak I've spent the morning with a helicoil kit on the cylinder head oil feed, to anyone who hasn't stripped one yet they really are rather soft.
It was a major disappointment to solder up a hole in the oil feed pipe at the side of the road and then strip the thread for the cylinder head feed on reassembly. I went home on a rope.
