 1987 2CV Bamboo
I've just been and bought me a Bamboo, sadly, I'm at the girlfriends and I can't upload pics, but I'll chuck some up tommorow evening. It's a write off but I've spent the day repairing the front and replacing the suspension arm so it can be driven home, hopefully it won't need much work doing to make a good daily car. My plan was to sell it and make some money, but it's growing on me and I fear I might end up keeping it!

I knew you'd be dissapointed! Sorry, I'll get some online tomorrow, but Liannes PC and laptop have no way for my camera to connect to it!

 Re: 1987 2CV Bamboo
Pics! This is it fresh from the smash, but with the crumpled wings removed.. Fitted a new arm, adjusted the wheel alignment (roughly) to drive it home, I'll stick a new steering rod on it when its here... (yeah, I know its an acad arm, it's all I could find at the time) Fitted some new wings which happened to be the right colour... Good as new! (well, not really, but certainly better than it was) Could use a bit of tidying up at the back... Rear wings are annoyingly dented. This could be better, but I've seen worse! More to follow when I've collected it, which should be 3rd of January 2009. I still can't decide whether to sell it on and make some cash or keep it and slam it!

look like a good base for a slammed motor running bike carbs and a hoon filter or two and exhaust!

Nice one Russ, I'm pleased it's been saved. I like Bamboos, we used to have one. I'd keep it if I were you.

Part of me wants to flog it for cash and buy a Merc, the other half thinks it'd be sweet as a nut dropped on the floor.
I guess it might depend on whether anybody comes along with bags of money wanting a bamboo...

Nice - looks pretty tidy. Rear over riders too, mmmm! Keep it, it looks like a good base for a clean, low ride.
