As the front of Dasher has been lowered, it passed its MOT on 125 tyres, but now I've refitted 135's I've found they scrub the front arms on full lock...so spent a couple of hours this pm raising the front a little - it has the free-ist suspension links of any of the A Series I've owned ever and turned just by finger pressure alone!

It was yesterday, but I popped up to see Gary and some other members of the Bathtub club. Collected a few bits and had a bit of a chat. Was good to meet them all.

Here's a photo of the two most northerly 2CVs in Blighty. Photo taken at Uyeasound Jetty on Unst.

Nels,
isn't that how they're supposed to be? ( And will be if they've been cleaned and greased on assembly)

Not quite sure where you were heading with raising the suspension to counter tyres touching the arms on full lock.
The lock stops on the arms are provided for that very reason...

Ideally, you'll need a couple of 14mm spanners to undo them, adjust the setting and tighten the locknut.

Ken - it was very low at the front, without modified arms, so on full lock, and larger tyres, they just touched the suspension arm....so by taking it back up by around 25mm or so they no longer do that.

Put a fan in my heater tubes, rammed calliper vent ducts up my heater tubes, drove it till it smelt of hot oil and was smoking from the a panels (it's got a big oil leak off a feed tube I need to fix this weekend mpg in oil too at the moment) turns out I'd left the grille muff on which I try not to do if I'm flat out.
