Geert; no. aside from the fallen out of love with the Ami bit, it is not much less work than this to make perfect, tho to look @ them you wouldn't think it. Part of the work in the Ami is the amount of dismantling before one can start 'mantling' it again - not an issue with the AZU! Besides I want a van!
Dave; thanks for the offer but sadly the rear wings are where the extra length is... I'm such a van virgin that Ive no idea if shortening the wings would be feasible...?
Similarly, what do the body half of the rear door hinges look like? Can I make them from bonnet hinges? They appear to be bolted on rather than welded?

Yes. Bolted on. Spog are making them soon.
When bolting them on, take care: On all Citroen models up to about 1970ish, M5 threaded holes were a different pitch: Without looking it up, I can't remember if it was M5x0.9 or M5x0.75. Later models have what has become the industry-standard: M5x0.8.

The rear has been replaced (except the lintel/number plate panel above the door) so the I guess/hope the captive nuts for the back door hinges are the later pattern.

Oh yes I'll have some of those lights please!

I have all the glass ta but useful to know you have the curved ones in case - the 'no' was to the rest of the list not rest of the glass! Incidentally it has the toughend screen with the circular clear panel in front of the driver same as my AZAM. Happy to swap that for a laminated one if someone particularly needs that detail.

I have been looking for rear door hinges for ages.I have even tried to get some made.There was talk a while ago about spog having some made,but heard nothing since.Even asked Keza about making some,no joy at the time.
Shame about the hinges,you must have the same size as a 250?

I belive so, unless there is a difference in the body height (as AK350 to 400) in any case it would only be a matter of length. I was wondering about using bonnet hinges, they look like they might do the job at least in the short term, will go and peer @ a complete van asap.
I might also have aquired a Velosolex 2200, accidentally of course, just now as well...
