Re: Czech republic 2009 World Meeting.
I'm really getting excited now!
Here's my rough plan for the journey to Most.
I'm setting off this Saturday morning, and gettng the 2pm ferry to Dunkerque. So I'll stay somewhere in northern France on Sat night, either in a Formule 1 or most likely on a campsite. Then I'll head down towards Dijon on Sunday and will probably camp somewhere in that area.
On Monday the holiday really starts, as I've booked into a campsite in the French Alps for 3 nights, and I aim to arrive there on Monday pm. On Tuesday I'm hopefully going to go and cycle over and Alp or two, on the route that the Tour de France will be taking the following day. Then on Wednesday I'll cycle out onto the race route again (about 20 - 25 miles each way to where I aim to go) to watch 'Le Grand Boucle', as the French call the Tour.
On Thursday morning I'll pack up and head out to the banks of Lac d'Annecy to watch the individual Time Trial, and then I'll head up into Switzerland, with the aim of camping somewhere around Lausanne or Bern, depending on what time I leave the race.
On Friday I plan to go through Switzerland and into Liechtenstein, where I hope to stay on Fri night. I've never been to Liechtenstein before, so why not?
Saturday should see me plugging through Germany and around Munich, heading towards the Czech border just past Deggendorf. With any luck I'll spend Sat night somewhere in south west Czech, before heading up to Most on the Sunday to meet up with Neil and Russ and whoever else is getting there early and drinking a lot of Czech beer.
That's the plan for the way there - fingers crossed it all works out! I don't know what I'm going to do on the way back yet, but I would like to go to Poland if possible/there's anybody else to go with.

Have you got a CB? I'll have my mobile on probably but if we know you're coming I'll leave the CB on whatever channel you like and we'll listen out for you. You'll need us to blag you in mate, sunday entrance for subscribers only who have booked a trade stand, I booked it in Neils name (he has a prebooked ticket, and the person I emailed spookily knew I was going with him) so I doubt you'll be able to say 'I'm with I2F' and get in, so try and get in touch and we'll do our best to convince then you need to be let in early!

Cheers Russ. I do have a CB. Let's put it on channel 23, and I'll be in touch. I'll no doubt text you earlier in the day or on the night before as well.
