It's not looking good on Thursday and Friday, we're expecting heavy snow right through both days.

Make your mind up! It's either not looking good, or there'll be tons of snow
- I love snow :D

I tried to go to work in it and it wouldn't start :(

I had to go to work, so took the family generic-mobile, and left my dad with it. That's the issue with only driving a car with charging issues in the dark (damn winter). Anyway, he's put a different alternator and voltage regulator on it, I think just swapped from the Goatmobile for now, and the charging problem seems to be resolved, so that's very good :)

I hope the old man will fit the supect parts to his car to diagnose exactly where the fault lies, other wise both will have to go in the pile marked 'Maybe faulty'. And I will bore you to tears with the finer details of charging systems if you're not careful.

Went to B&Q to pick up some timber,I love to watch peoples faces as I walked up to my 2cv ,with three 2.4 metre lengths of studding. You know there thinking he hasn't got a roof rack, then can't believe their eyes as you open the boot and slide them in under the back seat through to the front and close the boot. Love it every time. :-)

I had a leak on my brake fluid jar/reservoir so whipped it off, changed the copper washer and tightened it all up again. Refilled and then bled all four corners.

took it out for a spin and it goes like a rocket now and stops quickly but not in a straight line - need to adjust them a little.

All ready for the Christmas festival at the local Super U on Saturday - got to line him up with the other old cars to be looked at again.

But tomorrow I am going to get some sand, cement and gravel and use him like he should be used :D :D

Collected the Shed from Richard Daltons - £700 lighter but now MOT'd up for another year - I really need to do some serious welding (hello Jo!) or get shot early in the new year.......

Been unable to get in the garage since Wednesday due to snow, but it has now (mostly) gone so I'm going to pop out and start the old girl.

Took him to the local Supermarket for the christmas fete. Long day waiting around but a free lunch in Flunch ;)

Nice cars including an Ami 6 (1967) a HY van, a couple of Tractions and some more Peugots, Fiats, Ferraris etc. Nice day in the sun.

Took the little Simca too :D

Other than a quick fire up and tick over for a few minutes on Sunday, I used the 2CV today for the first time in over a week. Used it to pop over to the island of Yell for a dental appointment. Ran sweetly and got a few crazy waves off fellow motorists. :)
