Re: AK 400
More than happy to fill up Neil's fridge. Rust never sleep. My aim is to get it back on the road legally and safe. This AK is still solid and the rust really doesn't matter. I'm am interested in watching how long it will take before I need to replace rotten door, wings and other panels. On this particular 2cv, the rust just adds lots of charater, don't you think?

Re: AK 400
Yep, I will use lots of WD 40 rust converter hoping it will convert back to solid metal again

Great to see that! I really like it without sidewindow. That Fiat text, well... Raid use, yeah

Re: AK 400
nice one, Viking! glad you've got it - like you say; you've gotta be quick off the mark when bargains appear - they're gone in no time else! I think it look brilliant as it is, the colour, signwriting & rust all go to help make it look properly rustic - something you can't recreate!
i'm looking forward to seeing how this all pans out - fingers crossed that the chassis is ok.
