The rear of the car was then jacked up to the correct position and the rear doors refitted to check door gaps...

Once happy the new floor was then welded to the rear panel with the welds hidden behind the rear lights and number plate, it all worked out perfectly.

With the floor in and also bolted down to the chassis in the stock locations at the back plus two extra it was on to making up a new boot floor edge, the remains of the old panel got cut out and a new one folded up and welded into place...

The rear inner wings are going to stay stock after all and the large 165 tyres dropping back down to stock 125's for more of a slammed low rider look...

This is more like it, closer to the floor... the stock suspension will remain but the car will get fitted with cheap air jacker shocks to raise and stiffen the ride, so when i brake it will not hit the floor :D

how do those work, the air jacker - you do realise the shocks on a Citroen work the wrong way round ? (pull on deflecton push on rebound)

Why do you VW bois go for tbe Dyane over the 2cv...?
With all this great work surely a 2cv is more appealing!

I know Sean i plan to make a simple frame to hang the shocks on dropping down on to the suspension swing arms.. the backs will have to come into the boot space while the front will run between the gearbox and engine.....

Not for me Harley i prefer the styling of the Dyane body shell, each to there own i guess...

When phoning around for parts to Citroen specialists it has become very clear that spending any amount of time and money on a Dyane is seen has the actions of a crazed fool....
