Post Re: 1-2-spark
Mark your a star thanks!!

Did you get the bridge card??

Geo think ive sussed my issues

I drove home from snetterton 200 miles on 1-2 SORT of fine (vac hose connected)

It would run funny at 60, so i ease off then go again and itd be fine

Apart from that all was well

Tonight i went to local meeting and ran absolutly faultlessly with the vac hose not connected

I left meeting with vac hose connected after showing people 1-2 spark, and it did the same again at about 2000 rpm basically un driveable so i disconnected the vacumn hose again, and ran perfect

Mark said he had problems with the hose sucking flat from the vacumn maybe i have that too?

Im going to fit pvc hose sometime soon, so that wont happen

Maybe geo its worth changing to nylon hose for future? The blue stuff alot of people in the pneumatic scene use..?

1-2 is easy once you understand Thanks to mark i understand how to tune properly

Its easy to fit but not everyone is skilled in metal work or welding i can weld but metal work is somthing i am yet to master..!

I think 1-2 is great the engine starts instantly and runs very well

Next thing to do is wire up the switch for different tables....

Jameswallace I'm using black pneumatic vacuum hose already at the moment, if you want I can send you some......

Did you fill out the maplagfactor at 65 at the setting page with the new software????

p.s. you can export (and import) your advance table at any moment, so you don't need to work with screenprints the buttons are above the advance table..

for vac hoses youll all need proper vac hose which is pretty thick walled and rather stiff nylon Pneumatic sounds good as its thin and relatively stiff - just needs a short bit of rubber hose on the end as a connector

Vinyl will just go floppy and soft in the engine bay.

geo i wasnt critisizing your system from all accounts it sounds great - and was sad to not have met you in Alcaniz for a beer. But I know a fair bit of what i want my engines to be doing but would probably bugger up an engine map too

Still on old software. It seems to run fine now. (Vac hose detached)
Dont worry about hose. I work next door to a waste treatment plant manufacturer who have everything pneumatic wise. But thanks

I will tonight download new software and do maplagfactor...
Cant export tables with current software as it crashes

Will try with new software.

Cheers

Harley your LS1/2 coils are in, looking great.. I think I (and 1-2-spark) can work with them.. I will use the existing wiring loom and go on from there....

Will take a week or 2 to get them alive... I guess....

Keep you updated..
