Using a new cable between laptop and unit with ftdi chip in it, which gives even a more stable connection (the PL2303 chip mostly clowned in China suck) and I've added some componets to the powerside of the PCB, so this is also more stable now......
I can't use it if the laptop is not connected to a power supply. If it is, it occasionally crashes. If it isn't, it crashes immediately after I start the engine, so I can't drive and make changes. However, the revlimiter is SO COOL. And the black smoke that comes with it, too (even better in my car because my exhaust exits to the left before the rear wheel)

Never looked at my smoke when revlimiter kicks in...
When revlimiter kicks in then there commes a spark at about 3 degrees after that there doesn't com a spark anymore till the rpm drops underneath the treshhould, then the spark occures again, igniting the unburned fuel in the exhaust making the black smoke, I Always like the sound when the revlimiter commes in and nobody expects it from a 2cv,,,, it is a showmaker is'n't it.
Try to get your hands at a usb/rs232 cable with a ftdi chip in it, I,m shore you can tune in a driving car with it..... My PL2303 cables went fine for over 2 years and then suddelnly they where gone (2 of them) and I couldn't get a decent connection anymore......... (maybee a windows update blocking the cheap clowned China chips)
If you want I can send you a cable (14,95+pp).......

Hi Geo Any news on replacement Visa/LNA sensors for 1-2-spark Cheers Boggy
Tonight I tested the new sensor amplefyer, so that 1-2-Spark can run on a Original Visa sensor....
The electronic part is so small I needed 3 (soldering) attempts to get 1 working...
At the moment it is working stand alone on a Vr sensor, next week I'm going to try to hook it up at a 1-2-spark unit and then with a Visa sensor, luckely my Ami 4x4 has an Original Visa engine in it.....
for the video... each time the flashing led goes out the sensor passes the pickup
and now the video...

Re: 1-2-spark
I want this for myself..... Would be a great relief for all Visa engine users..... You can throw away the original computer now and put a 1-2-Spark in place.....
I hope the Original Visa sensors will cooperate with 1-2-spark, otherwise we can take a replacement sensor, (will be better anyway I guess) I think it will take a month or 2 till I have a finished Visa engine product......

Re: 1-2-spark
Had a look at the pickup on the flywheel. It is ever so slighty rusty. Could that confuse or make an error with the VR sensor..?
Apart from that everything looks fine ...

Have you looked at all the wires? Especially the blue one to the coil? I've had loose hanging wires start to break around the end connectors, appearing intact, but losing contact due to breaking wires inside the insulation. Also it may rub and short somewhere, causing your coil to misfire at random moments. That's why with 1-2 spark I put the wires in a plastic cable duct.
