Geo!

I have found a good supplier for the LS2 coils:

and have ordered a set (6) ;)
shipping is a bit high, same price as 6 coils... but still good!

I will post you 4 in the next few days to test with my 1-2-spark then you can post me 2 back with the 1-2-spark and keep 2 for yourself!

Looks like an amazing trip to Spain, jealous...

I think for all of us it was an amazing trip to Spain.....
My car was a barnfind, so it was a bit of a gamble to go with it, but it behaved as espected (use of much oil).... The 1-2-spark I fitted didn't miss a single beat (temp up to 45 degrees Celcius), only at the end of our roadtrip it started to pink, but I guess this is do to the burned oil cooked up in the cilinder (valveseals where way gone)

This winter I'm defenitly are going to implement a temp. sensor, so with high headtemps the ignition can be retarded....

Sometimes the engine got so hot that it suddenly started to pink, had to switch to my lowest table then. Going downhill the car cooled (a little) so I could switch back to a higher table.......

But over all I'm very happy with 1-2-spark, for me it is reliaable, and had a good fuelleconomy, speed was also good, did 110km/h on first piece of throttle with my Ami (2 people+ 2 bikes + lugage).....

Do you have my adress ?????

Did again some testing (few days before going to Spain) with the Original Visa sensors and other once (hallsensors) but they won't cooperate with my signal amplefyer, tried to trick it out but it doesn't work.. Soon I'm going to try another amplefyer which I know should work fine, but which is hard to solder (read at the first pages)... at the moment I'm having also difficulties with my rs232/usb wires so probably I'm going to change this circuit too. At last I need to mention that I had some troubles with a particular alternator in my Ami, but when I changed to another alternator it ran fine (all the way to Spain and back)...

So there are several things which I want to change first before making another production batch..... will keep you updated.....

Just returned from a rally in Lithuania. 1991 km total, 1-2 Spark hasn't missed a beat. Avg fuel consumption 6,3l/100 km (2 people, lots of luggage and lots of wonderful hills and twisting roads, travel speed 75-80 kph).

Sounds like a wonderfull experience, I'm glad you are happy with 1-2-Spark (at last)....
Still making some (little) progress...
Using a new cable between laptop and unit with ftdi chip in it, which gives even a more stable connection (the PL2303 chip mostly clowned in China suck) and I've added some componets to the powerside of the PCB, so this is also more stable now......

I've driven 4000km to spain (WM) and back and it didn't miss a single beat either, didn;t here nothing from my testdrivers so I guess they are fine either.......

I know of 1 Dutch guy who's driving a Visa coil all the time, so that works also fine with 1-2-Spark.....

At the moment I'm trying to fit a new sensor amplefyer so that it can run Hall sensors also (or the Original Visa sensor) but it doesn't work yet, but I'm working on it.....

Thinking about to make another batch of 10 units, because the first batch is almost sold out....

Hi Geo
As soon as you have unit working with hall sensor or visa sensor (I have a few now thanks to Chris) You know I will definitely have one to run Visa engine with supercharger, so full unit
Cheers
