@djjr1982: Yes I noticed that after taking the picture, it's fixed now. Wrapped it around with a coil of steel wire & insulation tape, now it can't bend so sharply.
The missing microcontroller, that's another story, the unit was supposed to go in something else first and got damaged :)

@lpgo:
I was actually thinking of posting the details (drawing of the bracket, used stud lengths etc.) but have to rework some dimensions, it was tough taking a precise measurement using a ruler between carb, flywheel, starter and air filter and it didn't fit perfectly at first ;)
I just didn't want to weld, especially that I don't have the hardware to do it nor the skill, and the reversability is nice too (not so much because I'd ever want to reverse it, but this way it's not very "invasive" on the original parts)

A cool method for doing labels like the button panel: print anything out on a _laser_ printer (you can do full color like this as well), remember to make it a mirror image. Put it image down on ANY kind of clean surface, hold down with tape (the less it can move, the better) and use a cloth dampened with acetone/nitro (not too much or it may smudge) to "tap" the image onto the surface.

30c on way home today so played a bit more with the HOT setting on the 1-2-Spark.

It's fantastic how one minute you are going up a long drag of a hill with it pinking like mad and then throttle back, punch in a lower advance number next second back on the gas and pinking has stopped.

Marvellous bit of kit.

Here is the current setup for the HOT table

There will come a day I will add a temp sensor to it then you don't need the tables for cold or hot, then there will be a table from lets say -40 to 120 degrees maybee 12 steps where you can give more or less advance (in percent) from a reference point..

Will be mark III :D :D :D :D :D :D

This is with the engine running at idle, MAP reading 20-25 :D With the pressure up, it expanded back to normal shape. It was soft, softer than the transparent one you supplied and with thinner walls. Now I'm using a thick, reinforced petrol line hose, but will switch to a proper pneumatic hose http://hydrowaz.pl/sklep/img/p/94-178-thickbox.jpg just because it's nicer and thinner, and can fit in the cable duct like the first one.

6000
4000
4000

Post Re: 1-2-spark
Spent a pleasant afternoon yesterday with James tuning his 1-2-Spark.

He has a great engine so initial problem was to get it to pink but we got there and then played with the tables. I'm used to my 4x4 which has more drag due to gearbox and big tyres but once we got the initial values it really pulled up the hills.

James will have to do some fine tuning of the tables for lower temperatures but I recon he knows what to do now.

Here's the tables original and updated. Air temp was around 28-30c initailly but cooled later on. ( a bit)

Geo!

I have found a good supplier for the LS2 coils:
http://calgary.kijiji.ca/c-ViewAd?AdId=490909222&Guid=13f0b62e-d520-a20b-2672-7360fffd1776
and have ordered a set (6) ;)
shipping is a bit high, same price as 6 coils... but still good!

I will post you 4 in the next few days to test with my 1-2-spark then you can post me 2 back with the 1-2-spark and keep 2 for yourself!

Looks like an amazing trip to Spain, jealous...
