Will look at the video

Ive heard it described as walking on cornflakes but ive never heard it. Sometimes i think i hear it but im not convinced (when i was on points and condensor) i hear a slight not thud but like noise which i thinks normal

Geo what numbers can i put thatll definatly pink? So i can learn properly

I also assumed small numbers = more advance

Where are you based? If you want to come over to Oxfordshire I can help set it up.

There are a few great hills to tune it on.

With the 2CV's twin cylinder engine, the crackling isn't as rapid as on other engines.
Unless the timing is a mile out.

In mine (with regular ignition) it was a quiet but also distinct sound easily heard over the noise, like walking on dry leaves or something like that, fast crackling sound.

Just watched the video. Didnt realise just how evident pinking really is...

some want to stick with a pushbike others want to go forward!

I aggree that verry often simple is the best, but this is such an improvement compared to original or other electronic ignitions.. this one you can adapt to your specific engine (and the youngest one beïng about 25 years old, there will be some 'differences')

if you dont want to put any time in adjusting something like this, just stick to the other availible ignitionsystems!

greetzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

As of today, my 2CV is running on 1-2 Spark. It's absolutely awesome. Here's some ideas for sensor mounts etc.:

I'm using a Fiat double coil, with a 3,3 ohm 100W resistor (it has only 0,5 ohm resistance by itself and would try to draw a HUGE current)

If I had to pick the one aspect of I2F that pleases me the greatest then it's this thread.
