 Re: 1-2-spark
James, if you haven't made the vacuumconnection yet, heres a very simple way to do it, drill a hole 4mm into the inletmanifold (for instance in the tube near the sensor holder), tapper m5 into the tube. put in the welding tip with your silicon stuff (or loctite) and thats it. Every place at the inletmanifold would be great, theres the same vacuum through the whole inletmanifold.... So no drilling tapping at the carburator wahsplate, no drilling tapping in the carburetor.... just easy going 2mm tube to drill and tap..... p.s. did you try to tune it already???

 Re: 1-2-spark
I have bought these some time ago.... http://nl.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Cher ... NQ8w%3d%3dThe problem is these go from 12 volt to 0 volt (when the pickup arrives) The original Visa sensor goes from 12 volt to 6.3 volt (when the pickup arrives) Now the amplefyer I use works only when there are - volts involved. The Vr sensor goes from +250volt to -250 volt at 6000 rpm and at each zero-crossing there goes a signal to the chip that the sensor has passed..... Now with the sensors above theres never a zero crossing so it wont work yet....... What I'm now trying to do is to say to the amplefijer that 5 volt is the crossing point, I hope this will work, then the problem is solved for (the Cherry sensor) Hall sensors.... So I'm working on it.....

Quote: @ Harley, if you can send me 2 truck coils that would be great, I will make it happen and send them and the working unit back to you.... I only have 4 but will post them to you as I don't need them yet! Then you can let me know by seat-of-your-pants tuning if they make a difference. .. Please pm or email me your mail address. Harley

 Re: 1-2-spark
@ HARLEY p.m.ed you my adress..... Can't wait to see if 1-2-spark can fire coil on cop.... which is the same as your LS1 coils...... Theoreticly it must work... b.t.w. I've send a unit to Germany, this unit is going to do twinspark but with 2 standard 2cv coils... 1 coil is doing the upper plugs the other coil is doing the the bottom plugs should be arriving these days at germany....... When this works I want to do twinspark myself, should give a little more power and even less fuel...

 Re: 1-2-spark
Today i had a flat battery on 2cv. Not completly flat but only just enough to turn over. It fired up none the less instantly. Amazed! Ive adjusted the idle so it runs better Sunday ill take the car to work and after work i will fit the vacumn pipe and also going to make holein where the wires pass through bigger. Im also going to fit a piece of 13mm water hose over the wires to protect them. While i do this im going to also move the black box as currently its under the left hand heat pipe for the feet so im geussing it may be getting a bit warm..! I will photo where ive fitted 1-2 etc Running really well top product geo!
