Been to the Herefordshire 2CV club meeting this evening, my last as a regular. Was a good turnout of folk and cars, I'll miss 'em. Found out I'm the only 2CVGB club member in Shetland (there's 2 in Orkney), so the 2CV will be the most northerly in the British Isles. Below is a photo from this evening at The Tarrington Arms.

Fab turnout Jon - Shows how much you will be missed! :)

My brother had to dash to the school for his son and the only car keys I had on me were the 2CV. I got him to jump in and he was amazed - On the way back I had the roof open, we had a right scream when he realised you can stand up in it lol! Like a pope-mobile 8-) It was awesome!

Shes now parked up for a few days as I'm off to the seaside tomorrow. Will use her for work next week. :D :D :D :D :D :D

Thank You :D Shame you wasn't there.

I've been out for one last drive in the 2CV this afternoon, it's now safely back in the garage till my return in September when I'll take it back to Shetland with me.

on topic: I vacuumed the van (it's carpeted), cleaned all the windows and washed it - at work in the early hours, after having travelled the 130miles round to Jonathan's 'leaving do' in Hereford earlier in the evening
