Fantastic! I've just watched the whole thing. Gotta love matey spraying the door shuts - wearing full overalls & a hat but no mask!

Loved watching the bird making brake hard-lines; sent me into a trance. Great to see the lead loading of seams on the GS. Smoking while you work FTW.

Yeah, the lack of mask was pretty amazing. His nose was painted... Can't imagine he didnt suffer from respiratory problems in later life!

Just finished watching the whole set.

Their faces show how boring and monotonous it was on the production line. Hardly a smile anywhere.

Also surprising to see so many women. They weren't just doing upholstery and wiring looms, but heavier stuff as well.

Women also seemed to be the quality controllers.

Very interesting to see a full length pre-robot car production film.

Well done for finding it Ben.

It's a great insight into life on the production line. It's very hypnotic to watch but must have been very boring to do those repetitive tasks. The spot welding and brazing of gs bodies especially so.

I liked the guys talking about the faults in the previous years cars at the car show.

So that were our beloved Citroens all about?
Some gross sheet-metal and sloppy welding, wire threading and blow hammers?
Cannot be. :(
Where is the technology minded practice incorporated in every Citroen car?

Nope, defiantly a GS 1220, so 14000rpm? Maybe but only once! :D

Great videos, thanks for posting.
