 i dropped a steering wheel bolt down the steering column.

Post i dropped a steering wheel bolt down the steering column.
Call me an idiot! but, importantly. is this going to break anything. as, i cant really get it out!

i was thinking one of those. but im not driving it right now since im just using it to get back home when i need to. im going buy another bolt. is there anything down the end that it will damage if left there?

I used a bamboo cane with wrong way round insulation tape wrapped around it.

It won't do any harm, but you should be able to undo the clamp bolt at the bottom and move the column up enough to allow the bolt to drop out.
