Hi Guys I know some of you know the exact colour of Betty so therfore what is the paint code or where can I buy a cheap can (cans) of red paint that would match the rest of the car? Can i just buy a can of 'red' from wilkos and it would look ok or do i need something better? |

It'd be a shame to make betty pretty, and brushing on a slightly different shade of red would be much more in the spirit of betty, but I believe the colour is Sunrise red AC448 |

It is Sunrise Red, and ECAS sell the paint. I have been using some of it this very day. |

IIRC, Ford Radiant red is a very good match for sunrise red. It's probably easier & cheaper to get hold of too... |

It depends on the job you want, and how you go about it! you could brush on cheap dulux paint and it'll cost you about £15 a can, or you could go to a bodyshop and have it done nicely for a couple of hundred quid, if you buy a few cans of spray paint, plus primer and wet/dry paper, you're probably looking the best part of £50? |

Hi Louise. This company seems very reasonable; 400ml of any colour (just give them the code) for £6.99, and postage is fair too. http://www.auto-paint.co.uk/carpaint/in ... oductId=21 No idea of what the quality of the paint is like, or accuracy of colour match. Has anyone here used them? |
