popped the Dyane bonnet up before going out today and thought we would tweak the Carb, but we'v notice the carb is dripping fuel from we believe the throttle leaver shaft.

i dont know if this sounds like a familiar problem as wer not that familiar with these engines :? , Yet :D

if i have confused you i will look tomorrow at this leak, and get me haynes manual out

Any advice would be great, Thanks

Don't quote me on this, but I think there is an overflow type thing on the twin choke carb and they do tend to drip a bit on occassion.

George,
had you pressed the throttle pedal before having a look under the bonnet?

If you did and the engine wasn't running, that would have shot some neat fuel into the carburettor throat, then that fuel will drip out of a tiny drilling in the underside of the manifold.

ken.
