Sorry Paul,
Shepherd Neame's hand-pulled Spitfire is the guest beer this week, as well.

The sun will be well over the yard arm by 10.00 this evening, methinks. ;)

Free beer, mmmm. One of the very few things I miss from the UK is a good honest pint of real beer. :|

Post Re: Burning smell!
a little update, just drove back from uni for the weekend. car did the same thing. car has clean oil, (the right amount of 15w40) oil cooler is CLEAN. same horrid smell, except this time it lasted longer, and started to come back after about 10- 15 mins. the only thing different is that this time i couldnt use 3rd gear unless it was down hill so i think its getting worse. also, after a hill, when on flat there was one time when i was at about 55-60 in 3rd gear, and i gave it a bit of gas, the car didnt speed up atall but the engine revved a little bit making me think maybe the clutch? the trouble is that this only happens after long runs, and it pulls fine otherwise.

HELP!

Joe.

Check your brake pads (hand brake) maybe one or more pistons inside the caliper is stuck.
