i dont wanna make a tit out of myself, but.. i changed the bulb in my dash from the woofty lil 2.2A to a nice beefy 5A and i can actually see it at night now  but... is it gna cause any long term damage? like melt a hole in my dash or anything like that?yess i know its kinda silly but i thought i'd ask... just incase something was to happen.... lol cheers  GJedit** ooo 500th post for me

everyone knows me as that now! second i got to the national and met up with a few people, it was "This is Gay Joe" ive become quite accustomed to it can someone change my name to it on here aswell please? or will it scare people off?... and you didnt even answer you just laughed at me!!!!!! |

G_J, so long as you meant that the bulb was changed from 2.2 watts to 5 watts, it'll all be fine and dandy. Assuming you mean 5W, I've had a 5W bulb in for ages without related problems. |

Good to know the bulb can be uprated without problems, 'cos the original is useless. Has anyone tried using LEDs in there? Can you get ones brighter than the ordinary bulbs? |
