Is that true, wow. I love his stuff. So very clever yet useless.

2CVCity [there I did the naming thing] seem to be doing OK. Good bad or indiferent, I am a firm believer that businesses prosper or fail as customers move their business around following good or bad experiences. I don't buy from them as I am too far away but I know people who have and have regretted it. Then again I have one mate who won't but from anyone else.

Hey ho.

Just cheked my Frame and it has both shake proof and nyloc nuts as standard. Must have been built on a good day.

Indeed. There were three brothers - Will is the best known, but Tom & Charles were both highly regarded illustrators, too.

It's good to know that this one may have been a rogue one. People need to check, though. I don't think Pete's had had the hitch replaced before - and I'm sure Pete wouldn't have replaced shakeproofs or nylocs with "straight" - when I later accidentally damaged the hitch, the "they're all totally standard, mate" one I bought at a local towing shop before returning the frame had to have the hole centres modified to fit.

Blimey, sorry to set off such disagreement.

My reason for asking the question about the type that bolt to the chassis is I'm thinking of making one rather than buying one.
