Post Windscreen Washer Hose
I think I should replace my hose. It's hard and very difficult to locate onto the back of the pump, then it leaks too. I cut a little bit off which didn't help. Haha.

Has anyone done this? I see we can buy the hose easily.

I guess it threads through the firewall somehow, how difficult can it be..

Look at an aquarium shop they have all kinds of hose. Attention with pulling the old hose from the pump. It can break. Broken pump tubes can be repaired with glueing a small tube in it...

I did wonder about pump repairs actually. I have two pumps with broken nipples now, since I broke one yesterday and annoyed myself.

Daras does have hose on his Retrospec site.

You need the old nipples too, at least it helps to reinforce them with the thin metal or hard plastic tubes inside.

I bought a pump with hose already fitted in the end, from the 2cv Shop. Works fine.

Oddly one hose was a smaller diameter than the other, but that one fitted inside the old hose like the old hose was an adaptor. No idea why. The nipples on the new pump corresponded with the hose size. Weird, I've only seen them with both hoses the same size before.

Pump about £40, with hoses. Super quick delivery and nice customer service.

The holes in the bulkhead were super easy to locate and use, took about 10 minutes.

Then of course one thing needed something, and another thing needed something else. But I have windscreen washing capabilities again!

I should add it was a Club Mehari pump with hoses. Looks just like the original, apart from one nipple bigger than the other.
